A solution based on the SIDAT SIDAS IEM product covers monitoring tasks for various kinds of energy (electrical energy, technological water and waste water, steam and gas etc.) with the option of concurrent display of the individual consumption levels, not only on the basis of standard time conditions (hourly, daily or weekly reports etc.) but also in the relation to the technology’s operation mode.
Modules for manual data collection by means of interactive web pages and modules for automatic data collections by means of an open OPC interface are part of the system. These interfaces allow for connection of a comprehensive range of signals from meters (electric energy meters and flow-rate meters by various manufacturers) from simple binary to very complicated intelligent ones and also allow the client to obtain data from any PLC systems. The option of off-line data input by means of mobile devices on an Android platform is also available.
There are two types of data output from the SIDAS IEM systems:
- in real time on the www browser screen with the possibility of simple animations or even presentations on large screens or specialised panels
- in the form of reports providing display of basic OEE indicators in selected intervals (day, week, month and year)
Output data can also be filtered and subsequently presented in the form of tables or graphs and also exported to different formats.
Unlike regular energy monitoring systems, the SIDAS IEM system allows you to enhance regular reporting “by time variable” (consumption for a time period), to include so-called reporting “by contextual variable” (consumption of individual technology units, consumption related to a production batch etc.). It is thus possible to calculate the planned consumption relating to the production plan on individual devices and to determine the anticipated energy consumption for the time period specified by the production plan in the application.
The SIDAS IEM application also features security elements which manage and archive the user's access sessions and his activities. Subject to customer request, it is also possible to arrange the operation of the IEM in an external data centre without the customer having to purchase and manage his own HW.
